The first CD under the Vent Elate project name was released on Tuesday 17th January 2011. This is the original artwork, designed by Robert Ellis.
The CD contains 13 songs, music written by Robert Ellis (Brillstereodeck), and lyrics written by either Rob, Ray Treacy and Anthony Leaton, or a combination.
It contains contributions and additional work from Jim Dye and Stuart Miller, whom appear on a majority of the material, playing Keyboards, Piano and Bass, respectively.
The track "Tighten Your Belt" contains Pooter Patty on Bass, and Frederich Fauchet on Acoustic Guitar.
The track "New Folk" contains Gary Bullis on Slide Guitar and Flutes.
Rob plays All Electric Guitars, Keyboards, but he also plays Bass on "Invincible" and "New Folk".
Ray sings on 11 of the songs, Anthony sings on the track "Prometheus"
