een rather busy last few months. Have written some new material, which I will be posting on this website for you to listen to, and purchase. To explain the busy; I am currently at the end of my first year doing a music production qualification at a local music college. This includes music for film, foley work, and also learning to do studio based mastering and recording techniques - this using mainly logic pro has the DAW for these endeavours.The first year results were quite pleasing. I hadn't passed any of the modules, since the grading works Pass, Merit or Distinction. So I attained Distinction on 98% and 2% Merit, and 0% pass, I think that means I had done reasonably ok. The course included Composition, Aural Perception (odd time signatures) etc and of course Production and Recording Techniques.
Anyway. Some of you may note I have done some coloring in on this website, thought the site didn't really say the name above large enough.. I think it now does. On the site you will still find some of the old favourites, such as downloads, and now you can directly purchase music from this website if you wish, and later once I can get time to do a final REX Box, which probably will be called 4, you should be able to directly download that too (and the other REX Boxes too).
Oh and for all the Rifflink Junkies who might visiting here, I am thinking of doing a weekly Podcast from the RiffWorks Charts, and possibly any new posts, if I can fit them in a weekly slot. Tell me what you think ? If anyone has the facility to compile them, then I can of course post yours..
